It was a light air day, which seems to be the norm this time of year. Good to see so many boats out racing, and we had some of our meetup crew in the mix.

Have you signed up for the Turkey Trot yet?
Come out and race in the
last PHRF event of the year for Shoreline Yacht Club. Although weather
prediction is far from an exact science, it looks like we are going to miss the
worst of the weather during the race. Taking a number of weather sites
into account, it looks like the worst of the rain and wind will have blown
through before the start of the race and the winds will be good for the
afternoon. Not to say that you might not get another sprinkle or two
during the race, but then sailors are not afraid of getting wet.
See you on the water

2011 Race Awards
On December 4th we will
be having the annual Race Awards for Shoreline Yacht Club. The event will
start at 14:00 and will include a potluck lunch/dinner as well as a slideshow
of pictures taken during our races for 2011.If you are a skipper that raced in
any of the 2011 events, please invite your crew to join us for the
afternoon.
If any of you have
pictures of SYC racing from 2011, please forward them to Jason.
Also, Risa will be
coordinating the potluck. If you can bring a dish, please let her know so she can make sure we have enough desserts and not too many vegetables.
Many thanks - see you on
the 4th.

CAM Series Race #6 Results
We thought it was going to be a wet and wild ride, and we ended up having light shifty air and blue skies for most of the race. We had two brave sailors from the meetup join us and they were probably a little let down when the wind died off. Here's a shot of Whirligig, catching a puff towards the finish. We could probably take 12 of you out this Sunday for the race. If you are able to commit please shoot me an email at racemedia at shorelineyachtclub.com. You would need to be at the club by 10:45am. The race starts at noon, and usually finishes by 2:30pm. More details to follow. The race on Sunday is race #6 in the CAM series (IT IS NOT A MEETUP EVENT).
