Five Platform Fiasco

On Saturday, June 21st, Shoreline Yacht Club hosted the second annual Five Platform Fiasco.  For those of you that are not familiar with the format of this race, the skipper has a chose in which direction to sail the course - either starting east for the first mark off Huntington Beach or west for their first mark off the channel leading into Angel's Gate.  Although only three boats initially headed west, it paid off for those skippers with two first places and one second in their respective classes.

Congratulations to the winners in their respective classes:

Spin - Ron Simonson on Sleeper
Non-Spin - Marc Marois on Latitudes
Multi-Hull - Randy Reynolds on Cat Attack

Summer Series Race #1 June 22nd

NORs and SI's are up and registration is open for the first of three Summer Series Races. It's a mini "Start Your Heart" out with a minimum of three starts. Open to Spin, Non-Spin and Cal-20 classes.

Electronic Registration is now open for approved Skippers for the second series of Taco Tuesdays, June 17, 24, July 1 and July 7th.  NORs are posted. Please see the link on the Cal 20 fleet Tab.
