Long Beach to Dana Point Race Results

On Saturday, September 1st, the 29th annual Long Beach to Dana Point Race was held by Shoreline Yacht Club, Dana West Yacht Club and Dana Point Yacht Club.  We had 48 yachts register, 46 hit the start line and all that started finished.

Starting a race before noon in Long Beach can be a challenging proposal but we got lucky with the winds filling in to give all of the classes a good run at the start line.  The winds continued to fill all afternoon as the racers made their way down one of the two courses that would see all of them to Dana Point.

Dana Point Yacht Club hosted a great post race party with live music and good and drink to satisfy all of the racers after a full day of sailing.
