Want to be a Cal 20 Sailor?

Due to renewed interest in Cal 20 sailing, JSORP will be offering Adult Sailing classes for anyone wishing to learn or improve their sailing skills aboard our SYC Cal 20 fleet.

There will be two sessions offered in July with 6 hours of 'on-the-water' instruction. Students will be paired up with other students of similar skill levels so that they can learn in a comfortable setting with a knowledgeable SYC skipper. Novice sailors will learn terminology, rigging, safety protocols, points of sail, sail trim and basic racing instruction and advanced sailors will get racing strategy, tactics and more technical instruction.

Cost per session is $60 for Members and $100 for non-members (includes $40 Race Membership for 6 months).  Classes are somewhat flexible if you can't make all three classes on a particular night per session (ie. may take 2 Thursdays and 1 Monday if better able to fit schedule).

Session I: Monday nights 6-8 pm (July 9, 16, 23) 

Session II: Thursday nights 6-8 pm (July 12, 19, 26)
